Industrial Events

Automotive Session (June 26, 2007)
Computer modeling and simulation are growing in importance for the product development processes of vehicle makers. Computeraided vehicle design, crash simulation, component fatigue analysis, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and occupant safety are just a few of the many applications important today. And HPC is the key for integrating them. “High Performance Computing for Automotive Engineering (AE)” is therefore the theme of this year’s special application afternoon. more

Hot Seat Sessions (June 28, 2007)
The Hot Seat sessions consist of 18 short vendor presentations. Speakers have 15 minutes each to present their latest developments, new products and strategies. A panel of “inquisitors” then asks probing questions. This provides attendees with a compact, comprehensive overview of the current HPC market.

Exhibitor Forum (June 28, 2007)
This forum is a unique opportunity for participants to get acquainted with the range of new developments and products from the leading international HPC vendors. more
Scientific Events

Scientific Day (June 26, 2007)
The Scientific Day provides an open forum for engineers and scientists to present and discuss issues, trends and results that are poised to shape the future of high performance computing and networking. The ISC Award Committee will choose two of the submitted papers to receive the ISC Award and special prizes. more

Research Poster Session (June 26 – 28, 2007)
Here, participants from universities and research centers and HPC and networking companies can put up posters presenting their research projects and results. more

Birds-of-a-Feather (BoF) Sessions (June 27, 2007)
The BoF sessions are informal groups hosted by one or more experts in which you can discuss and share new ideas and information on HPC and networking topics with other participants. Each of the ten 45-minute sessions addresses a different topic.

After-Hour Social Events (June 26 – 28, 2007)

Enjoy after-hour social events that evoke German “Gemütlichkeit”, like the opening of the exhibition on Tuesday, our traditional Get-Together Party on Wednesday, and the Microsoft-sponsored Saxon Night on Thursday. more
