Arriving by Air

How to get from Hamburg Airport to Hamburg Messe

From Hamburg Airport, 69 airlines fly directly to 18 national and 98 international destinations. It is situated to the north of the city in Fuhlsbüttel. See the Hamburg Airport website for flight connections.

Hamburg Messe can be reached from here by S-Bahn (S1) and taxi. The journey time to Hamburg Messe by car is about 20 minutes, by public transport about 25 minutes.

To Hamburg Messe / CCH by S-Bahn (Suburban railway)

Route: From the airport please take the S1 (leading towards Wedel) to Hamburg Hauptbahnhof (central train station). Once you have arrived at the train station you switch to the S21 or S31 on the opposite rail track. The next station will be Bahnhof Dammtor, there you get off and reach the CCH East Entrance.

Traveling time: Traveling from the airport to the East Entrance of Hamburg Messe and the main entrance of CCH takes approx. 25 minutes.
