Prof. Dr. Wolfgang E. Nagel

Prof. Dr. Wolfgang E. Nagel obtained a diploma in computer science and a PhD from Aachen University (RWTH). He has worked several years in the Research Center Jülich (Germany) and now holds the chair for computer architecture at the Institute for Computer Engineering at the Technical University of Dresden. Furthermore, he is the dean of the department “Computer Science” at TU Dresden, and he is the director of the Center for Information Services and High Performance Computing (ZIH).
