Step into the arena - Hot Seat Sessions make top vendors sweat

Unique to ISC, the Hot Seat Session are two afternoons of to-the-point presentations by industry powerhouses in computing, networking, data and storage, and supercomputing centers in Europe, Asia and North America.
Each speaker has 10 minutes to present their organization’s newest strategy, product or research developments. A panel of expert “inquisitors” then asks each speaker two in-depth, follow-up questions. The speakers have only five minutes to offer their responses—on the spot in front of an expected 1,500 conference attendees.
The two ISC’09 Hot Seat Sessions will be held in two parts, from 2:30–4:45 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, and Thursday, June 25. All conference attendees are invited to attend the session.

Cultural ambassador - Hamburg Tip

We would like to come up with a tip for those who would like to sneak a peek into Hamburg’s cultural scenery. It offers you a chance to learn about the wealth of museums and the opera in the immediate vicinity of the Congress Center CCH.
Bucerius Kunstforum
“Bucerius Kunstforum” is a private museum located adjacent Hamburg;s City Hall (Rathaus)l. The modern installations are an exciting contrast to the architecture of the historic building. During the conference in June the exhibition features “150 Years of American Art”.
If you visit the museum, don’t miss the little cafe “Canaletto”, where you can rest for a cafe or a whole lunch.

Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe MKG
Beside its great variety of collections of work from Europe, the Middle and Far East which span from the Ancient World to the present day, the museum is famous for its special exhibitions. A visit of the modern extension called “Schümann Flügel” in the inner courtyard is well worth seeing for its extraordinary architecture.
