Online registration for participants is available at www.isc08.org/registration.
The default payment method is by Credit Card.
The invoice sent to you by email constitutes the registration confirmation.
In most cases we have experienced the reason for payment failures has been in the context of exceeding the monthly limit. Please check, if there is a limit on the specific credit card.
In general, participant registration is done at www.isc08.org/registration requiring credit card payment.
If this is not possible for your company then we can also iin exceptional cases accept registrations by email. To do so please send the relevant information (name, contact details etc. as collected by the online registration form) by email to registration@supercomp.de. You can also complete the online forms and send the according screen-shots by email. We will then register the person(s) for ISC’08 according to the information provided by email. The resulting invoice(s) will be sent within a few days. Please send your registration information to: registration(at)supercomp.de
To register as a student you need to be a full-time student. Please provide us with a copy of your student id via email attachment to registration(at)supercomp.de. If you need an invitation letter to receive a visa, please let me know via email to registration@supercomp.de. Please see the passes overview on fees, day passes etc.
The student rate for the conference participation is 300 Euro, full catering included.
Exhibition and/or Conference passes will not be sent prior to the event – please collect your pass upon arrival at the ISC’08 registration counter.
Unfortunately our software doesn't provide any possibilities for changes from the exhibitor's side after the initial registration has been committed. In case you need to correct/modify the information previously entered and submitted by you, please send the according details by email to registration(at)supercomp.de
According to German Law we - as a German company - have to charge VAT on the ISC participation fees. All prices are therefore subject to the statutory rate of VAT valid in Germany.
Important information for foreign participants: VAT can in some cases be reimbursed to foreign companies on request by the German Federal Ministry, if
- the necessary legal requirements are fulfilled, in particular if no VAT or similar tax is levied in your country, or if it is levied, is reimbursed to companies residing in Germany
- the request is submitted in time (at the latest six months after expiration of the calendar year in which the conference was held) Please check this with either your Ministry of Finance or the Federal Ministry of Finance in Germany.
Conference speakers are being registered by the ISC organisational team.
Presenters in other categories (Bofs, Research Posters, Exhibitor Forum, Hot Seat Session) are required to register themselves as ISC’08 participants. This will help us to progress with our work since only by completed registration we will have the guarantee that the according presentations will take place. The registration deadline for presenters is May 19, 2008 – the end of the advance registration period.
Yes, onsite registration will be available with an additional onsite charge – payment by credit card or cash only. Visitor Passes (valid for June, 17 & 18 or 19) will also be available onsite for a fee of 150 €.

Visitor Passes will be available for a fee of 150 €.
No, there are no day/visitor passes available to attend the conference lectures – attending these requires the conference pass (see passes overview)
Standard booth personnel (2 persons included in Exhibition Package) can be registered via the “Restricted Online Exhibition Area “ which will be made available on March 1, 2008. (Exhibitors will receive an access code for accessing the restricted online exhibition area.). Additionally, booth personnel can also be registered via the online registration form
The exhibition package includes 2 booth personnel. If you wish to bring additional staff to the exhibition these will have to be registered for an additional cost of 275 Euro per person via the “Restricted Online Exhibition Area “. Access information has been provided to exhibitors by email beginning of March 2008.
You can upgrade booth personnel via the “Restricted Online Exhibition Area” by registering those also wanting to attend the conference proceedings as “conference participants”. (“Conference Pass” includes
“Exhibition Pass”). If by this the contingent of 2 free booth passes is not utilized, we will (after the conference) credit/refund EUR 275 for each of the 2 free booth passes not ordered.

The registration fee for booth personnel does include full catering and evening events. The fee covers our original costs.

There are two options to register for additional elements:
1. You can book the new element/event in a new registration process via the online registration form
2. You can inform us by email to “registratio(at)supercomp.de” and we can try to debit the additional fee from your CC.
Yes, it is possible to pay cash when registering onsite.
es, the registration form allows to register an accompanying person – this person is then allowed to ttend the evening events.
These are different registration phases for which different fees apply.
